Kufner drew on twenty years of experience in the charter business to develop a charter yacht that sets a new standard of comfort and quality at an unbeatable price. The brief was to deliver more comfort and more speed for less money — and it worked.

Kufner Jacht is a Croatian company with many years of experience building comfortable sailing yachts. It answers the needs of sailors who want a boat with good sea-keeping and real pace, without giving up living space. At the same time it is a very comfortable and safe brand that meets every sailing ambition.

Kufner 50, 54, 56

The Kufner 54 sets a new level of comfort in charter: 50 m² of flat teak deck, a 20 m² saloon, five cabins and four heads. Kufner Yachts hopes it has met its design brief — “to set a new level of comfort in charter use”.

The saloon has two tables, so a large charter crew can be split into two groups. The generous specification includes 300 litres of refrigeration, air conditioning and a 110 hp Yanmar engine.

A well-designed hull and careful attention to detail in production allow excellent sailing speeds — 8 to 10 knots cruising and up to 14 knots maximum — while remaining very easy to manoeuvre. The strong Yanmar also delivers 8 to 10 knots at three-quarter throttle. With a displacement of 19 tonnes, the 54 stays comfortable even in a rough sea.
